Tumby Bay Foreshore Playground

Christmas is coming early in Tumby Bay with a new junior play space and equipment currently expected to be installed by mid to late August 2024. The $100,000 replacement of the Tumby Bay junior play equipment is being fully funded through the Australian Government Local Roads and Community Infrastructure grant program.

Council has been able to get the balance between accessible features and maximising the available budget to increase the play value for the children in our community.

The Tumby Bay foreshore playground is located close to the town jetty and is a fenced play space ideal for those with younger children.

The new playground will include equipment elements that combine traditional play equipment with a nature play aesthetic. New play favourites such as a boat, digger and interactive truck will be included along with a ramped interactive play system which includes sand play, dual slides as well as climbing features such as a web, balance trail and beams.

Located close to public amenities and local businesses this is the place for a relaxing coffee by the sea where the kids can play and explore the foreshore.

From tired, well used play equipment ....

To re-imagined play equipment and multiple spaces children will love to explore!
