Port Neill Foreshore Playground
A short 30 minute drive from Tumby Bay will take you to picturesque Port Neill. The Port Neill foreshore playground is a quiet spot, close to the town jetty surrounded by open green space and stunning Norfolk Island Pines. It’s a space that offers diversity in recreational activities with close amenities.
The play system at Port Neill is currently nearing its end of useful life and Council has allocated renewal funds towards the replacement of the main play system. The $77,000 replacement of the Port Neill foreshore playground play system structure will be achieved through Council allocated renewal funds for this site.
The Port Neill foreshore playground main play system will be replaced with a similar style play system that has raised platforms, multiple points of entry and exit, double and spiral slides, a geoclimber, balance trail, role play shop and stairs. This new play system will complement our existing equipment and infrastructure at this site. It’s anticipated the works will be completed by mid to late August 2024.
