New Elected Members
Outcome of Council Election Nominations
The close of nominations was at 12.00pm 6 September 2022.
At that time, the District Council of Tumby Bay had three nominations, one for Mayor and two for Councillor. As such, the election is uncontested.
Successful nominees are:
Mayor
- Geoff Churchett
Councillor
- Ricky Trenberth
- Rick Will
There are four Councillor vacancies to fill. Further information will be provided regarding the process to fill these positions in due course.
Induction
Once all positions are filled, all Council Members will participate in an extensive training and induction process over four weeks to prepare them for their tenure in Council.
