Behavioural Standards

A new Behavioural Management Framework for council members commenced on 17 November 2022. This framework is a major component of South Australia’s local government reform.

A key element of this new framework is the Behavioural Management Policy. It is now mandatory for all councils to prepare and adopt a Behavioural Management Policy in accordance with section 262B of the Local Government Act 1999.

Register of Interest

Under Section 68 of the Local Government Act 1999, Council must maintain a Register of Interests. In accordance with Section 70(a1), the Register for each Elected Member is published below.

Disclosure of Conflict of Interest

In accordance with the Local Government Act 1999, the Council must publish details regarding the disclosure of any conflict of interest by Elected Members of Council.
